TC defeats Park Tudor to begin season

Triton Central Tiger Football got off to strong start in their new conference on Friday. They defeated the Park Tudor Panthers 42-13. The Tigers were led by their special teams unit with Dakota Nelson taking back two kick-offs for touchdowns and two blocked punts by Daniel Stickford, one for a safety and the other for a touchdown.

The offense was lead by senior running back Nick Anders, who had 148 yards rushing and Dakota Nelson added 84 yards and a touchdown catching the ball from Derek Arbuckle, who also ran in a touchdown from the one yard line. The Tigers other touchdown was added by Jonah Thacker from 34 yards out late in the game.

TC's defense held strong after giving up a touchdown on the opening drive.

The Tigers are getting ready to travel to Heritage Christian this Friday.
