WHITEFISH – Nathan Boone collected two goals and two assists to lead the Whitefish boys’ soccer team to an 8-1 Northern A victory over Polson on Saturday.

Sam Donaldson had two goals and an assist for the Bulldogs, who improved to 3-0-0 in league and 7-0-0 overall.

Curran Edland and Tommy Murphy also had two goals apiece for Whitefish and Sean Janni added a pair of assists.

Thomas Clark made two saves in goal for the Bulldogs.

Jonah Kasnitz scored with a minute to play in the second half for the Pirates (0-2-0, 0-4-0).

At Columbia Falls, Austin Nagel made 14 saves for the Loggers and Mason Gedlaman made 10 for the Wildcats in the Northern A draw.

Caleb Baumann scored on a penalty kick in the 21st minute for Columbia Falls (1-0-1, 2-2-1), which outshot Libby 28-7.

Libby’s goal came with six minutes remaining in the match off the foot of Jeremy Helmrick.
