Home » Girls' Soccer NewsGirls soccer loses to Archbold, Miller CitySeptember 16, 2012 By Chris Malanga of Bryan High SchoolThis week has been a tough one for the Bryan Lady Bears. After losing to Delta on Tuesday, the team traveled to Archbold Thursday, and Miller City on Saturday, and were shut out twice. The Bryan girls stepped up and played a strong game against a fast and powerful Archbold team, but lost 5-0. "I am very proud of the girls effort tonight, and I hope they can carry this momentum through the rest of the season," said Coach Jeffe Widenberg. On Saturday, the girls tried to step to the ball and had a few opportunities to score but were unable, losing to Miller City 6-0. "We plan on going back to practice to keep on working on defending the attack and putting up more shots," said Wildenberg. The Bears' next game is this Thursday at Saint Mary's.
